There is no bottom to TFG’s mendacity.

No one envisioned the day there would be incomplete government records because the President carried burner phones.

So true, and again, imagine if this was a Democrat. As a double standard, you can’t get much clearer than this.

We haven’t heard yet about the inventory of items that were once known to be in the WH and now aren’t. I hope someone is watching the internet selling sites, especially in S Florida.

Watch for Melania selling a portrait of George Washington as an NFT.

ETA: Come to think of it, selling the unwashed sheets they stole off the beds is more the Trump style.

Hey now Trump was newbie, give him another term and he can certainly do much better in the mendacity department/deportment.

The New York Times noted that Trump had a habit of using his and other people’s personal cell phones to make calls.

Makes sense, the desk phone is for throwing at interns.

A skill he’s honed over the course of a long, corrupt lifetime. We may never see his equal again (with any luck).

Sometimes, looking back, I can understand why Obama and Hill made an arrangement for a Cabinet Level position in his Administration…and wish that they had settled on a lower profile department.

But that would be succumbing to sexism and a lot of built-up animosity against this woman

This is just giving the committee a reason to subpoena all of the cellphones used in the White House that day to get the call records. It is a problem common in recent administrations, people’s personal and work lives are blending together…we all use our cellphones for work calls and emails. But, other administrations have tried to keep records, by doing things like forwarding the emails to their government account, which keeps to the spirit of the law. It’s clear that the Trump people didn’t do that, and likely used apps that encrypted or deleted their communications, which is definitely against the law.

It’s all coming home to roost now, despite their efforts to cover things up.

Funny thing, though, still gonna be able to find that phone or those phones used. Super easy if you’ve got Sen. Lee’s phone (which trump mis-dialed to get tubers-- makes total sense if it’s a burner phone and contacts hadn’t been uploaded properly) records, just track the incoming numbers.

If you don’t, just triangulate all the phones in the WH on Jan 6th, almost all should be associated with someone, so can strike those and focus on the few that weren’t associated with a subscriber. Those will be the burners.

Trump is that rare criminal where the volume of crimes works to his favor.
