The House Jan. 6 Committee has run into some gaps as they try to dig into ex-President Donald Trump’s official White House call logs on the day of the Capitol insurrection, according to the New York Times.
We haven’t heard yet about the inventory of items that were once known to be in the WH and now aren’t. I hope someone is watching the internet selling sites, especially in S Florida.
Sometimes, looking back, I can understand why Obama and Hill made an arrangement for a Cabinet Level position in his Administration…and wish that they had settled on a lower profile department.
But that would be succumbing to sexism and a lot of built-up animosity against this woman
This is just giving the committee a reason to subpoena all of the cellphones used in the White House that day to get the call records. It is a problem common in recent administrations, people’s personal and work lives are blending together…we all use our cellphones for work calls and emails. But, other administrations have tried to keep records, by doing things like forwarding the emails to their government account, which keeps to the spirit of the law. It’s clear that the Trump people didn’t do that, and likely used apps that encrypted or deleted their communications, which is definitely against the law.
It’s all coming home to roost now, despite their efforts to cover things up.
Funny thing, though, still gonna be able to find that phone or those phones used. Super easy if you’ve got Sen. Lee’s phone (which trump mis-dialed to get tubers-- makes total sense if it’s a burner phone and contacts hadn’t been uploaded properly) records, just track the incoming numbers.
If you don’t, just triangulate all the phones in the WH on Jan 6th, almost all should be associated with someone, so can strike those and focus on the few that weren’t associated with a subscriber. Those will be the burners.
