Oh those loser comments are going to leave a mark. I predict Trump will be incoherently spluttering even more than usual on his social media platform.

Donald Trump’s lawyers will use an “insane” and previously unknown “conflict of interest” between E. Jean Carroll’s lawyer and the judge presiding over her defamation case against the former president as the basis of their appeal seeking to toss the eye-popping $83.3 million jury verdict, The Post has learned.

Trump lawyer Alina Habba said she was unaware Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Kaplan and Carroll’s lawyer Roberta Kaplan worked together in the early 1990s at the same powerhouse white-shoe law firm until Saturday, when asked about it by Post columnist Charles Gasparino, who was told by a source that the judge was once Roberta Kaplan’s “mentor” at Paul Weiss.

Doesn’t seem like a COI to me.

Some of us have been saying that Abbott’s border stunts are effectively nullification a la John C. Calhoun and the beginning stages of a slow-rolling secession. It didn’t take long for Russia to notice. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were already sub-rosa contacts between Abbott’s operatives and the Russian consulate in Houston.

After all, petro-oligarchies have to stick together . . .

As much as I know Biden doesn’t like calling people names, he absolutely needs to keep on with calling the criminal a loser. Not for just today but throughout the campaign. He has to be tough.

It’s not, and you can bet they knew about it and held it back thinking they had a failsafe appeal argument.

“A former president accused of rape and of defaming his victim by denying it.”

Any article, even on TPM, which fails to also note that Donald J. Trump was found liable for the sexual abuse of E. Jean Carroll, is being remiss in their reporting on all the aspects still radiating from that assault.

Edited for correct description — as explained by @txlawyer

Dr. Feelgood passes out Happy Pills to anyone in the Trump White House and he gets rewarded with a seat in the House of Representatives.

And I wonder why ol’ Comer Pyle isn’t investigating The Pills R Us scandal?
