Joyce Vance seemed to be more circumspect about Barbara Jones’ discovery about the tax evasion bombshell.
Jones noted that while her role was limited to assessing the accuracy of information the Trump organization provided to her, there were some “deficiencies” that could be “considered material inaccuracies in the presentation of financial information” from the perspective of the entities the information was being provided to. She identified three categories of problems: incomplete disclosures, inconsistent disclosures, and errors in disclosures. But she concluded by underscoring that the Organization had admitted deficiencies and worked with her to rectify them. This report may just be a matter of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s at the end of the case, but it will be interesting to see if any of it plays out in the Judge’s final ruling. Is that a WH “pharmacy” log? Holy shit…it reads like a pill-popper/pill-seller wish list. Setting aside the fentanyl, there’s morphine, ambien, adderall, ketamine, valium, zolpidem (sedative hypnotic)…it’s all abusable “fun stuff”.
And the AMOUNTS!!! 2000 AMBIEN? WTF? Were they taking it or side-hustling? Jesus…
that George Conway video was excellent, the whole thing.
Apparently nitter is (sort of) down, but you can still find links to it that work. I don’t understand how, but enough other people on the interwebs do that I found a link to that post. Anyway, for those that don’t want to watch twitter links, you can watch it here:
Could be an appearance of impropriety if it were much, much more recent. 30 years ago? No way. And their respective work histories with Paul Weiss are well-established matters of public record. That ship has sailed and sunk to the bottom of the sea.
