“an affront to the Rule of Law and a raging insult to the citizens of this country who see the abject corruption in this assassination by political prosecution of General Flynn.”

Sounds like someone is trying to turn the case into “a public spectacle”.

Even his lawyers’ only have ‘this is partisan bias’. Seriously, that is just the cure-all to every problem a republican has in life. Just claim it’s all a liberal plot. Evidence be damned.

Did he clam it was a mockery of a sham or a sham of a mockery?

“Assassination by political prosecution.” Oh, come on. Why not “genocide by political prosecution”? Why not “drawing and quartering, hanging, mutilating and burning of the corpse by political prosecution”? Geez, if you’re gonna go rhetorically with hyperbole, get this weak “assassination” tea out of here.

When the victims of FOX News are all counted by history, Flynn will be high on the list.

He got into the FOX crazy for Trump, and thought that FOX was real. He thought because of what FOX was covering he could just collude with the Russians and then lie to the “deep state”.

When charges were brought, he wised up, as his son and him were looking at serious charges. DOJ cut him a hell of a deal, no charges against his son, and he would cooperate, get a slap on the wrist, spend a few months in jail/home confinement.

But he then listened to the FOX crazies about how he was being railroaded. Fired his lawyers, and hired a total political hack.

The end result of all of this is going to be that (a) he has no cooperation agreement, so his son can be prosecuted, (b) he is going to be sentenced to jail. And if Trump pardons him, then he is going to immediately be hauled before congress - because he has no self-incrimination privilege after a pardon, and then will have to tell the truth or lie. And if he lies, he will be charged with perjury by Biden’s DOJ.

Meanwhile his lawyers are going to bankrupt him and his family.

Dear Mr. Flynn,

Please look in the mirror and repeat the following until it is understood:

“I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty, I pleaded guilty…”

His response seems distressed and feverish. Somebody get him a cool, damp towel for his head.
