And the problems keeping mounting, don’t they?

How long before Barr interferes and this gets thrown out?

· · Trump said : “I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today. And what he did is an incredible offer; he offered to have the people working on the case come and work with their investigators with respect to the 12 people. I think that’s an incredible offer.”

Got him dead to rights on this one. Now where is the rest of the $107 million they raised for this wet fart of an inauguration?

COMPLAINT FOR EQUITABLE RELIEF INCLUDING CONSTRUCTIVE TRUST OVER IMPROPERLY SPENT FUNDS OF NONPROFIT CORPORATION

I think another term you may be looking for is “money laundering,” and perhaps “pay to play.”

Subpoena Wolkoff! I would bet she will talk, or will FLOTUS Privilege be introduced? We really need to attack from all quarters. I always said that the people needed most during the Trump years would be good lawyers.

One day of usage, Racine said, “amounted to a private party for the Trump children.”

The day will come when we get to throw a costume party for them. Wear something orange. And bring a toothbrush.

It is most likely that the excess gathered for Inauguration Festival was the trial run for bribing †Я☭mp directly, using real estate/hotel over-purchasing. (We know that the Russians overpaid for real estate in prior years.) That the authorities were not all over this from the start is shocking. Imagine the (feigned) outrage if Obama was running a DC AirBnB in 2008…

Nixon impeachment taught us the GOP is corrupt but the corrupt cannot thrive.

Trump is teaching us that it is easy to thrive even if you are corrupt. You just have to be thoroughly corrupt.

In totally unrelated news, I’m writing this from my new yacht off Monaco.

Good for him. I wish MORE people would show up Donnie for the Conman he really is.

My initial thought was that he can’t, because D.C. A.G. isn’t part of the Department of Justice. It’s an independent office, just like any of the state A.G.'s.

Then I realized he’ll probably have DOJ intervene to try to stop any discovery until after Drumpf is out of office. But he can’t and won’t be able to just get the case dismissed. This seems almost certain to be settled the same way Drumpf and his spawn caved on the Trump Foundation case in New York.

“D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine sued President Trump’s 2017 inauguration committee on Wednesday…”

Barr: “Sorry, but it’s unconstitutional to sue for this; you’ll have to use the impeachment process.”

(House uses impeachment process)

McConnell: “Sorry, but it’s unconstitutional to impeach for this; you’ll have to sue.”

(Rinse; repeat)

Most of the non-extradition countries are on the unpleasant side. I’d try to find one where you can still get Amazon to deliver.
