Time to count how many paid days off that I have available. This Committee had better get it right. Not sure how many more chances we have to tell the truth and save the country.

Excellent I am eager to learn more about the events that caused the “legitimate political discourse” that occurred last January

(hint: that’s snark. The Trump Insurrection is an event that I feel was probably the worst terrorist incident against the United States I have seen in my 46 years on this earth)

I think there are people on the committee who can ask important and pertinent questions. And then there’s Liz; she wants blood.

ETA. She knows these people and she knows who the week links are. It’s been said before, never bet against a Cheney in a knife fight.

She doesnt want blood, she wants to carve out the beating heart of the miserable beast that is the GOP insurrectionist body politic and throw it in the fire

Just noting here that the original timeline was looking at the end of Feb, now we’re seeing April or May for starting public hearings.

I’m kinda thinking that means that the investigation is getting a lot more material than they anticipated.

I want to see that calendar entry on the schedule. “10:45 Rep. Cheney rips out Roger Stone’s still-beating heart.”

“We’ve gotten overwhelming cooperation from the witnesses, but it still leaves more than a dozen people in Trump’s immediate entourage who are sandbagging and foot dragging with the committee,” Raskin said. “And so that’s what slowed us down by a few weeks.”

Always reading between the lines. Hmm…by a few weeks. That is interesting. Overwhelming cooperation. Equally so.

I think I will fall back to an old, old reaction.
