Putin Aide Takes Time To Troll Trump Over US Election

Originally published at: Putin Aide Takes Time To Troll Trump Over US Election - TPM – Talking Points Memo

A top Kremlin aide took time this week to slyly poke at Donald Trump, his domestic political foes, and instances of Russian interference in U.S. elections. In an interview with Russian newspaper Kommersant, Putin aide and former Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev warned Trump about the “obligations” that come with his election. The interview was…

“Putin reportedly called him [Patrushev] his “good comrade” before ascending to the Russian presidency in 1999, but demoted him last summer to the position of aide in charge of shipbuilding.”

Edit: s/b “…in charge of shitposting.”

I’d love to see this guy needle Trump for his entire time in office.

Hopefully the FSM will grant us that time being short.

Speaking of trolling Trump, why no mention of Russian state TV showing nudes of Melania as the announcers are full of mirth?

They made him a “cu*k.”

Trump’s handlers just reminding him that they own him. It’s passed off as a “joke” for the very reason that it’s not.

Another foreign word, (in addition to tariffs) with which more Americans are about to become familiar. Hint - it’s not French.

As much as I enjoy the poke at Trump, particularly one invoking the “Russia, Russia” hoax that wasn’t (a hoax), and delight at the thought of more to come this Patrushev frankly comes across as the RuZzian version of our wacky General Flynn and a great deal easier to silence by his boss whenever desired too.

“To achieve success in the election, Donald Trump relied on certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations,” Patrushev replied. “And as a responsible person, he will be obliged to fulfill them.”

So what will Putin do or better yet have some one else do if the convicted felon does not fulfill his obligations?

That description fits everybody in Russia and a whole heck of a lot of people outside of it.

I have no respect for the Russian government. Especially none for their military. I saw them invade Czechoslovakia in 1968 and it cost me my hearing. I saw a man shot to death not 5 feet from me for no reason I could understand. He may have hurled an insult at the young guy on the turret of that tank.

Anybody associated with Comrade Putin should stay on the first floor of buildings, look both ways when you cross the street, and avoid drinking tea.

Sure, it could be a troll. It’s even likely. But taken together with Russia having published nude photos of Melania shortly after Trump claimed that he had spoken with Putin and “told him” to not expand the war in Ukraine, it also has a bit of a whiff of a hard master calling his dog to heel. I’d refrain from characterizing it right now, and wait until the passage of time tells us what it actually means.

Does anyone REALLY doubt that the pee-pee tape is 1000% real?

People who cross Putin seem to have an odd habit of tripping and falling out 12-storey windows. That or catching a case of polonium flu.

It means Ukraine is fucked, along with Poland and the rest of Europe while Fat Donnie keeps trying to see his own dick.

And Donnie couldn’t pay attention to what the professionals had to say about his “friends.”
It’s a sad fucking day for me and, I suppose, a lot of other people who live here.

Yes, and I think the natural conclusion is that Patrushev does this because Putin wants it, whatever that means.

In a saner world, this would not be “trolling”, it would be evidence for the prosecution in an espionage trial.

Me myself, I don’t think there’s a “pee” tape. I think there is something even worse, perhaps involving one or more underage victims.

ETA: Also, the arrogant feckers aren’t even trying to pretend to make a show of hiding it any more. Like the emailed bomb threats on election day coming from Russian domains.

I, for one, have no intention of forgetting this. And all the disloyal enablers - Moscow Mitch McConnell, who knew in 2016 when Brennan told him; Devin Nunes; Ron Johnson and the rest of the “Fourth of July in Moscow” crowd; Dana “one of the two guys that Putin pays” Rohrabacher; General Nutso Flynn; and so on. They’re all owned assets of a hostile foreign intelligence service.

Speaking of Putin’s puppet, Trump has put Elon Musk in charge of “cost-cutting.” That’s right - a billionaire who has received billions in government subsidies and grants, and has benefitted from massive tax cuts from Trump, is now going to cut spending that benefits those that need it. Irony is well and truly dead.

Trump’s defense choice stuns the Pentagon and raises questions about the Fox News host’s experience
WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump stunned the Pentagon and the broader defense world by nominating Fox News host Pete Hegseth to serve as his defense secretary, tapping someone largely inexperienced and untested on the global stage to take over the world’s largest and most powerful military.

The news was met with bewilderment and worry among many in Washington as Trump passed on a number of established national security heavy-hitters and chose an Army National Guard captain well known in conservative circles as a co-host of Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends Weekend.”
