A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things.
The White House and Democrats, particularly progressives, are fuming after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) effectively poured gasoline all over Biden’s Build Back Better plan and flung a match at it.
Manchin-cut him loose and move on.
When will the United States of America change its name? To say it is “United” no longer applies.
…still trying to live up to its name.
Next election I suppose.in this case and concerning Manchin … I am with Bernie Sanders in my anger. I looked at the BBB contents and I would support all of it. It should not be hard to explain to a dim bulb that drinking water should be clean and safe. Just an example y’see. And Manchin said he couldn’t explain it to folk in WVa. And so he votes no.
Biden has proven his judgement can not be trusted* His love for bipartisanship has clouded his judgement.
* I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and NOT saying he outright lied (which given his past is a distinct possibility).
Convicted Trump goon Roger Stone claimed via Telegram on Sunday that it was “highly likely” that ex-White House advisor Steve Bannon “gave the order” for Trump supporters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Guess who’s worried?

Manchin is using the WV folks as an excuse to not try to explain the BBB. He’s accusing them of being Dim Bulbs…
Most any politician lies at some point or other. Even Biden. But the difference is our past goon lied out of brain pathology and what he thought was self preservation. 4500+ documented lies in his term. I am sure Biden is not like that. But lying is in the DNA of most any politician.
Manchin has privately accused his WV constituents of buying drugs with the child tax credit.
Lying is evidently in most people’s DNA. 98% of children admit to lying to their parents. 100% of parents admit to lying to their children.
The thing is, although his popularity has been in decline in Virginia, he’s still at 60%. He also votes in support of Dem legislature 95% of the time. So it’s not so clear.
Progressives yelling at Biden is not productive.
But, hey, that’s how they roll.
Biden is not responsible for the fact that Manchin is a back stabber.
So sad how Biden’s Democrats choose to self destruct concurrently with the GQP. They could have had an advantage and maybe saved democracy.
So much for not being able to explain it to his constituents. Unless he meant he couldn’t explain it to his donors.
