By all means, progressives should join the media and the GOP and torch Biden. Go right ahead. This is the thing; Biden is not responsible for the underhanded crap that Manchin does. If they had not voted for the infrastructure bill when they did the outcome would have been that neither bill was passed. And progressives would have been blamed for that. Because it is not as if they can get Manchin do their bidding any more than Biden can.

He hasn’t voted ‘no’. He’s SAID he couldn’t get behind it, but Schumer is calling Manchin’s bluff with Schumer’s statement about putting the bill to an actual vote.
I’ve said repeatedly about elections and it applies here as well:
The only vote that matters is the one that gets counted. Words are cheap. Put your money where your mouth is and THEN explain your actual counted and recorded vote to your constituents and the American people.
It’s all that matters. Vote. And ‘present’ is a coward’s way out.
