Of course they’ll ram some asshole thru, I expect that.

Don’t get mad, get even.

Be nice to see more of this, but of course McConnell and Chump will throw everything they have behind this, showing the country they could care less about the pandemic or ‘The Country’

I don’t remember the country recoiling at horrendous power plays from Rs before. Maybe this time they will.

Fuck all the Republicans and their motherfucking media apologists and enablers…

Just fuck 'em.

Actually, they should fuck themselves …

And die.

My sentiments exactly.

The Dems need to scream loud and often about the McConnell rule to remind folks these fuckers won’t play fair.

Shame them.

Concern for the “unborn”? I can think of a number of Repubs I wish were unborn.

The McConnell rule applies when the Senate and White House are controlled by different parties

This makes zero sense if one pretends that the “rule” is supposed to be consistent. If the pretense is that the next president should choose the nominee, as an expression of the will of the people, it doesn’t make a difference whether the current president happens to be in the same party as the Senate.

Conservatwitter already saying “McConnell Rule” doesn’t apply when Senate and WH are of the same party. This backfires.

Making up the rules as they go in order to cover their asses.

I’m going out on a limb with this prediction, that Trump and the R’s won’t move to fill the seat until after the election. They’ll ram it through during the lame duck, regardless of the outcome.

Hume isn’t a senator, but these guys are

Cornyn, Ernst and Tillis are likely yes votes, so Graham is the key.

If its all 4, then eff it; in this country, money equals speech and my donations will go to their challengers.

They’ll do it now and taunt the Democrats while doing it.

Joni Ernst is behind. An anti-abortion vote will insure her loss. I doubt she knows that, so yeah, she’ll be with Mitch, who also controls her campaign money.

$10?

You can always count on Repugnicants to play Calvinball. Their entire platform, if not philosophy of life, is based on rationalization of the unthinkable in the name of not having to think.

It’s like they don’t even remember the midterms.

Plays well with their base, but won’t make one bit of difference to the people who already know Garland’s name.
