In the days leading up to the deadly Capitol insurrection last year, Trump’s presidential diarist noticed that White House officials began providing fewer details on the then-President’s calls and visits, according to CNN. The report comes amid revelations that the White House call logs the National Archives turned over to the Jan. 6 Select Committee contained a seven-hour gap — despite previous reports of multiple calls that Trump took as the insurrection unfolded.
Consciousness of guilt, simple as that.
If I was suspected of murder (say), and two days before the murder I made my work calendar private so my actions couldn’t easily be verified, AND stopped using the phone number I’ve used for years in favour of a random burner phone… any lawyer would argue I was trying to conceal my activities.
Every day we find another puzzle piece and the picture gets clearer and clearer. And while we still have missing pieces, we get closer to figuring out exactly what is missing, and where to look for evidence of the missing bits.
Despite Trump’s denials, previous reports indicated that Trump engaged in multiple calls with his key allies as the insurrection unfolded.
We have heard about these calls not just from various reports, but also from some of the people he spoke to. Jordan and Qevin have said they talked to him that day too.
“The last day that normal information was sent was the 4th,” another source familiar with the investigation told CNN. “So, starting the 5th, the diarist didn’t receive the annotated calls and notes. This was a dramatic departure. That is all out of the ordinary.”
This seems pretty damming to me. It suggests they knew something other than yet another stupid rally was set to occur that day and they were trying to conceal their activities and communications. This is yet another line of inquiry for the 1/6 Committee. What was said to the diarist when they surely asked where the calls and notes were? Also, did the diarist begin receiving information again after the 6th?
A much bigger issue is that our gov’t along with the drug manufacturers have set up a system in which the bulk of the critical ingredients for a huge number of medications are made in China with (IMO) insufficient scrutiny or controls by the US purchasers or parent companies. This exposes us to serious disruptions in the event of war, pandemics, political instability in China, etc. Add to that that Puerto Rico’s drug manufacturing capacity was largely destroyed by hurricanes during TDFG’s administration and not rebuilt.
She was fine when she was just another halfwit money honey on CNBC. But since she married a hedge fund scumbag, she’s now the voice of the Reich - all to protect her money and privilege.
Trump’s presidential diarist revealed the scant details that the then-President’s White House officials produced days before the insurrection when reportedly testifying before the Jan. 6 Select Committee last month.
According to CNN, other witnesses described a similar scenario to the committee. They reportedly told the panel that Trump White House record-keepers were sharing less information during the same time period.
This can be summarily and legally described as “Intent”.
T rumpp planned the insurrection, and began to suppress the evidence well ahead of time.
I’m guessing he doesn’t know what “cocaine” is, either.
And just because someone spends “every waking hour” watching the teevie, doesn’t mean they’re watching anything that’s actually good. Sturgeon’s Law states that 90% of everything is crap. The television version takes it up to 99% and up.
tfg’s actions were entirely consistent with those of somebody in his position actively seeking to violently overthrow our democracy.
As far as the Sunday Gasbags, they’re providing an important service in our national corporate media’s campaign to gaslight america and see the fascist controlled gop placed back in power. The corporate media has zero sense of civic obligation.
