It seems that many of the mass shooting perps have a history of domestic violence. Maybe we should try taking DV more seriously - just as a way to cut down on mass shootings, of course, because we obviously donāt give a damn about women.

This sounds very suspicious to me. How many mass shooters with that kind of firepower are illegal immigrants? How often are mass shooters working as a team? And how many get caught before they act due to an anonymous tip?
Maybe this was a lucky break.

It could be. If authorities would just act on the indicators they already know. I donāt suggest they should swat-swarm every kid who makes a threat online, but they should be following them online from that point forward. Ignoring what we already know because it isnāt perfect seems like back-tracking.
