Post-Trump Dump, Mo Brooks Insists He’s Still Loyal To Big Lie

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is defending himself post-breakup.

Hours after former President Trump announced on Wednesday that he is done with Brooks, the GOP congressman responded to the latest blow to his limping campaign with a fresh statement. In it, he claimed that he has “not changed” his loyalty to the Big Lie — it’s just that he and Trump are at odds about how to keep the Big Lie alive and well.

Mo, I’ve been dumped by women who I was smitten with and it sucks, the difference being I didn’t have to find a new job.

Give Ol’ Moe a break. Understand that he is competing for the right wing POS voters all of which are Trumptards, and those voters represent a huge majority within the GOP party if not Alabama as a whole.

Brooks will now swear up and down that even though Trump asked him to break his oath to uphold the Constitution, there was nothing wrong with doing that.

This is the core portion of a statement just released by Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), one of ex-President Trump’s most ardent Big Lie supporters, after Trump pulled his endorsement. It’s an astonishing statement.

President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency. As a lawyer, I’ve repeatedly advised President Trump that January 6 was the final election contest verdict and neither the U.S. Constitution nor the U.S. Code permit what President Trump asks. Period.

It’s definitional sedition.]

Groveling is not a sufficiently descriptive word.

Both this man and Pence are accomplished contortionists

He’s also Exhibit A that there’s absolutely nothing you can do to stay on Trump’s good side. You can do every single thing he ever asks of you, but when you tell him the thing he wants is impossible, he’ll throw you right under the bus as though you’ve never done him a solid before. He doesn’t care that it’s impossible, he just wants you to do it.

I inserted the content of my last post in the thread dealing with Manafort. Wisely, no one took the angry-sounding Brooks statements at face value.

To me, that vacillation says much more about the cowardly and conniving Congress Critters than it does Trump, who is a constant baby.

Its all transactional.

And notice that it’s transactional for Brooks, too. As soon as Trump dumps him, he accuses Trump of Sedition.

But not before.

That covers all of TFG supporters and his hangers on on the hill. He has already started the slow torturous slide from favor.
