Pompeo Denies Former Adviser’s Claim He Stopped Statement Supporting Yovanovitch | Talking Points Memo

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday narrowly denied the testimony of a top aide of his who resigned partially out of frustration that the State Department wasn’t willing to publicly support a diplomat who President Donald Trump had attacked.

“Nobody ever really said anything to me,” he testified later. The silence from the department, he said separately, was “puzzling and baffling.”

Obviously he is not used to the corporate office kiss off.

“Pompeo thought the statement would draw undue attention to Yovanovitch and that it would be better to let the matter die down.”

How’d that work out for him?

Imagine you’re working for the State Department, maybe an Ambassador - Who’s got your back?

Nobody.

Even money says he can’t solve the NYT’s Monday crossword.

No wonder the morale at the State Department is reported to be so low. Pompeo doesn’t even support his own department.

Well, now will Mikey repeat that statement under oath?

I am sure the paper trail will prove that Sec Pompeo knew what he denied in this Q & A. But this will not be surprising to anyone that supports this POTUS or is a GOP’er as they could care less for people who lie, except for that whole Obama thing about their health care plans. I mean F*ck Obama for giving healthcare to millions of Americans who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to have it, F^ck Obama for putting in protections for pre-existing conditions and for making so that no American can be bankrupt by skyrocketing health care cost. The GOP plan for health-care is perfect, everyone knows, and everyone has read it if not for those good for nothing Dem’s. Oh, the great gas-lighting of America continues!

You already got caught lying to Stephanopoulos about this, Mikey. This little bit of selective wordsmithing isn’t going to help

I can’t wait for corroborating emails from McKinley to Pompeo to be published.

Pompeo just didn’t want to attract Trump’s attention to himself. What a coward.

Trump is apparently already attacking Pompeo for having hired Taylor, and as Taylor is scheduled to give public testimony on Wednesday, I’d keep a letter of resignation handy if I were Pompeo. But I don’t know if that’ll be enough for Trump. He may demand ritual seppuku.

What the “summary or summaries” by CoverUp Gen Barr in Russiagate/Mueller Report is the irregular channel in Ukrainegate is to Pompeo = it broke Public’s Trust because it is so obvious they are lying, loyal to the Criminal Orange Impeachiness and NOT acting on behalf of America!
ETTD!

Pompeo has become the latest who thought getting close to Trump would benefit their own political career. He will never be able hide from this crap, no matter what the outcome.

When the Kansas City Star editorial board rubs your face in your own shit, you might just want to pay attention.

"If Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is running to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts, Republican of Kansas, then he should quit his rather important day job and do that.

Or if, as he told The Star and The Wichita Eagle in a testy, credulity-straining interview on Thursday, he isn’t even thinking about it, then he should by all means focus on U.S. diplomacy — remember diplomacy? — and stop hanging out here every chance he gets.

If it’s the first, Mr. Secretary, then you are also going to have to drop the put-upon posture and answer the many valid questions that a Senate run would require with less attitude and more truthfulness."

Lemme guess…one guy was under oath testifying and the other guy was free to bullshit Lewandowski-style because when you’re speaking to the media, you supposedly don’t have an obligation to be honest, and its not illegal. Put m’fer Pompeo under oath and let’s see what he says. Oh, that’s right…he won’t agree to testify. Claims some kind of bullshit special privilege he really doesn’t have as a public servant. So sick of these creeps.

Every single one of them say ‘They are all lying. It wasn’t me!’ They are praying they get away with it. I guess this is what being a good Christian means to them.

“Nobody ever [really] said anything to me…”
How does one not really say?

Who you gonna believe, a respected professional diplomat or a Trump stooge? Difficult decision for some, I know.

As the kids say…Paaleeze! Pampeo is an awful man and like most awful men in politics hides behind Jesus. I guess were supposed to see no evil cuz Jesus. I see evil though. Pompao abused his office to help Trump abuse his. He did that deliberately knowing it was wrong. Then he’s lied about it ever since. Some Christian he is. His problem is he’s no better at sleaze then Trump and the guys bearing down on him are very good at what they do. His lies ring hollow now. Everyone knows he’s full of shit.

Pompao will be out before then end of the year. He’ll run back to Kansas to be a Senator or a Gov.
