Someone ask him which rights he is willing to forego, ‘lead by example’ and all.
It’s been said before, but every time you think they can’t sink any lower, they do. And they will.
Yeah, no. The Republican party’s actions lost them the right to that sort of benefit of the doubt years ago, let alone a Trump enabler like Pompeo. If you don’t want people to assume the worst about your actions don’t spend decades behaving nefariously.
Yes I agree - I have no doubts left the benefit of which to give any of them.
Would love to see his rights terminated with extreme prejudice…just listen to how in the weeds these maniacs are getting
.
Property rights and religious “freedom.”
Well, Mr. Pompeous, F*CK YOUR RELIGION. And as to your property, we’re going to tax you into oblivion.
Good dog, he’s a disgusting piece of offal.
Pompeo is simply unqualified morally and ethically to be Secretary of State. He is also a coward who lacks leadership skills. So I am not surprised.
So if the right to the fruits of your labor is so important, I am looking forward to seeing a new initiative to prosecute wage theft as actual theft, instead of leaving it as a civil matter that the victim has to enforce at their own expense…
Don’t forget that Pompeo is a Harvard Law School Graduate. He knows that to talk about human rights in this way is completely disingenuous. There are rights guaranteed by the Constitution, rights created by law aside from the Constitution, privileges and entitlements. He also knows that all rights are subject to reasonable limitations, such as limitations on free speech, gun ownership and so on. He should also know that there are other rights that have yet to be articulated as such (right to health care, right to a clean environment) and over which there’s debate now. He approaches the question of which we should defend most ardently with a chainsaw rather than a scalpel, which is why Trump seemingly loves him. At least until he starts to grab the spotlight . . .
Hard not to draw the line from this to what’s going on in Portland. Right to free assembly? Not so important, I’m guessing. Right not to be seized off the street and hauled away by unmarked goons in unmarked vans? Also unimportant, I’m guessing. Protecting property rights? Overwhelmingly important. Even if no property is being threatened. Just to be safe, yknow?
Boy, if that isn’t the definition of modern Republicanism, what is?

Mikey wants to ensure his right
to eat Crisco with a spoon
straight from the can.
They have been doing this for four year in hopes that so quiet parts gain tacit acceptance.
Yet. Based on experience? It’s the most plausible place to start.
Yup, a classic attempt at desensitization but I think it’s starting to be more like a hyper allergic reaction - we’re all reacting stronger and harder now than we did three or four years ago. I see my upcoming ballot as an EpiPen against this bullpucky…
Hey, wait a minute! What about the rights not to wear a mask in a pandemic? The most precious right of all?
Fake Christians always draw this card and play it. Think I’m going to crank Never Let Me Down again and call it a day at the home office.
Bravo
They are rushing to make a deadline now. Their idea of sliding into a next term and slow rolling their malaise is becoming a pipe dream.
They will literally have to steal the election at this point. And they are no longer confident they can do so.
He is the most pompous looking ass in the of the whole bunch.
