The number of human rights is getting excessive, according Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
As he was unveiling a report by his Commission on Unalienable Rights on Thursday, Pompeo stated that the U.S. is “forced to grapple with the tough choices about which rights to promote.”
Hey Petty PompusAss if I’m gay I don’t need you or your religion to determine that I have human rights. I am a Human and therefore I have Human Rights.
Well, I do still believe that a massive turnout in 108 days will upend the current framework and start us back from the brink. There’s definitely plenty of potential for some ratfuckery, but there’s way more of us than there are of them and despite the dire state of things, the East and West Coast population centers are not going to surrender to Trumpism this late in the game…
“No one can enjoy the pursuit of happiness if you cannot own the fruits of your own labor, and no society can retain its legitimacy or a virtuous character without religious freedom,” the Trump official argued.
What’s to say the next guy thinks his idea of which human rights are important and worth defending are different than yours, Mr. Pompeo? Either we all have human rights or none of us do. And it should not be dependent on who the current occupant of the White House is.
If it was any other country (including the two that border us), it would be a cause for concern, but there’s an obvious reason why America’s human rights ranking continues to slip,
