A New York Times reporter in attendance said of the crowds, “The energy level at the military parade here is a bit desultory. The crowds are calm and light, a bit sapped after waiting in the oppressive D.C. humidity for hours to make it to this point.”

Hey, Republicans think “Born in the USA” is a full-throated paean of American patriotism. They’ve never been big on actually, ya know, listening to the lyrics. Like the way they listen to their leaders: Just pick out the tasty chunks that they like and disregard everything else. Anybody remember Sarah Palin’s “word salad”?

I finally watched a bit of the video. GODDAMN, I’ve never been THAT drunk before—including the time I drank the equivalent of 15 12 ounce bottles of beer and puked in a urinal at the establishment about 2/3 of the way through my binge!?! 
Though, TBF, it appears she’s got someone else’s horse teeth going on and that can’t be simple to operate.

I read somewhere that no authoritarian regime has survived a movement that had more than 3.5% of the people in the streets protesting. Corvallis sets the bar.
We had about 7k in Santa Rosa CA yesterday. About 4%. Lots of happy people. Lots of smiles, jokes.
