Pence claims to believe in a Christian God. He swore an oath of office on a Bible that says there is a “Final Judgement”. If this is so, we will all be there; and I will ask that God why this hypocrite deserves to be let into Heaven.

The outbreak won’t be behind us at all, June is when our medical facilities will be able to deal with new cases. The outbreak is going to be ongoing for the next 12-18 months, minimum, until enough people are vaccinated/immune to the virus that it no longer impacts day to day activities.

Something that royally pisses me off is how every time a GOP administration totally screws up how to handle a crisis, it’s always described as “no one could have predicted” it. Bush was warned about imminent attacks in 2001. The mortgage meltdown was also a Bush disaster that was conveniently handed to Obama in 2008. Now, this crisis is entirely due to the GOP/Trump governing on the cheap and failing to prepare for what every public health expert in the world knows is an inevitability. The press cannot allow Trump to wash his bloody hands of this disaster which he and the GOP have created, denied, then coddled, and finally pretended to worry about. Impeach Trump again, Nancy.

Many people are saying that the president was being optimistic. Many more people are saying they wish they had known the real magnitude of the danger and had not gone on Spring Break, the airport, Mardi Gras, the megachurch, Liberty University, etc. A huge number of people are saying that they tested positive for Covid ‐19, and a monstrous number of people will not be around to tell us what it was like to die from it.
