The national security aide to Vice President Mike Pence who testified publicly before the House Intelligence Committee gave congressional investigators information about a phone call between Pence and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in September, according to a new letter from House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Well, Pence started with the false patriotism, so he was left with few scoundrel-saving tools.

Clearly, some damning piece of evidence in that call flew under Williams’ radar.

I swear these people wake up every morning vowing to make themselves look even guiltier than they did the day before. Never seen or heard of anything like it.

This is what happens when you don’t get any sleep and can’t rely on your staff to carry the ball to give you time to sort things out. You start commisserating with your cabinet and the press about light bulbs and toilets.

While Pence will not declassify the phone call, he was kind enough to let us all know it was the perfect phone call. As perfect as a call between two happily married, heterosexual males totally unconcerned about their masculinity could be.
Though I have to admit I’m confused why he won’t release it, it’s not like he was talking to a woman or something.

it’s because they have powerful backers and they know they’ll get away with their crimes. And they’re stupid. The powerful backers don’t want smart puppets.
And for some reason he wants the public to know too. For all their stonewalling, he’s been wrong-footing them the whole time. Seriously it doesn’t look good to retroactively classify stuff you’ve given in evidence.
