Is it illegal to try to make President Trump’s head pop?
Well, no one was prosecuted for the first 397,496,206,489 times his head popped, so …
Also hilarious was the pearl clutching on the Twitterverse yesterday about how dare Nancy engage in “fat-shaming!” (because she called trump morbidly obese). Both wackadoodles and liberals were aghast at the horror.
Today, everyone has internalized the fact that trump is morbidly obese. Just think how that grates on his nerves.
Tomorrow they’ll be recalling the toilet-paper-on-the-shoe incident. Get him, Nancy!
I don’t think the insult would have been much improved by that word substitution.
I agree. Staying above the fray has not worked in the past and will not work in the future. We have to hit them hard and keep hitting them until they are down for the count. Then we keep our foot on their necks.
Geeze, that’s an accurate comeback!
Love this poll. It further proves that no matter how much crap Trump and Co throw it isn’t going to help them. This has to have him in a rage. Pelosi just added fuel to the fire.
Hell, they have whole floors.
I’m pretty sure you don’t mean that.
True, but that’s a hell of a big rump.
To have someone hitting back is good for morale, it doesn’t have to get the approval of every single person who hears it, it only has to invigorate our base. If this thread is any indication it has done the job. BTW my young adult children, whom I no longer support, thought it a good zinger.
Here’s a person who had no problem invigorating our base, twice:
Think how much more successful he’d have been with a few references to “doggie-doo”!
But maybe the base has changed since 2008?
Plus he wasn’t fighting Trump.
Actually, think how nice it was he was not dealing with clownish imbecile we are dealing with now. Never thought it could go lower but the Republican IQ has plummeted into the cellar in the last 3 years.
It’s hyperbole. But you’d need a microscope to see it. I think if the Democrats don’t win, you can say goodbye to the rule of law. It’s on life support as it is.
Fortunately, I don’t think we have to be like Trump to win and, unlike the Republicans, I don’t think we need to destroy the country to “save” it.
Yes, I do agree: That is a relevant difference, not to be ignored.
And how Obama would have dealt with Trump at the time we will never know – but we can all see how he’s dealing with Trump now, and in this context I haven’t heard him mention potty-training, or “doggie-doo,” or any such.
For now I’ll stick with my contention that Pelosi only went there because she was frustrated, or “exasperated” – and if that is what happened, then (1) it’s understandable; and (2) it wasn’t eleventy-dimensional chess – and I think you’d agree with me that we’ve spent more than enough time discussing it!
If Trump loses and manages to avoid prison, he’s going to OAN. Which probably means Fox will have to fight a two-pronged battle, against Democrats on one side and Trumpism on the other. Who knows? From whence a small c, conservative Republican party might bloom? It would be better than what we have now.
Razor, at the end of her tongue.
I haven’t said, nor do I think it was any kind of strategy. She sounded exasperated that they even ask her. I do think it was off the top of her head, and if she had thought longer would have phrased it differently. Notice, she didn’t call him fat in her tweet, but people in his range, morbidly obese, have more problems. That, she had time to consider before she hit post.
