House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Thursday that she’ll send the articles of impeachment to the Senate “when I’m ready,” but that it will “probably be soon.”
I can’t help but think that Adam Smith and Seth Moulton are off sulking somewhere.

I think this means “Your move, Mitch. When you pass a resolution outlining the rules for the Trial on the Senate floor, THEN I will pick my team and they will convey the Articles to the Senate. I’ll believe you have the votes for a sham trial when I see a passed resolution.”

We may already be there. Clinton’s trial took 5 weeks. The SOTU speech is only 4 weeks away, and Mitch still does not have a resolution on the floor to start a trial. I’m wondering if he is whistling passed the graveyard on this. Why is Mitch holding back ?
What distresses me is the needless criticism of Pelosi. They got this “weaker sex” bullshit all wrong.
She is, literally, a bastion. Holding the line against some very powerful people who care so little that it’s a roulette wheel as to what and who they hate the most…
That’s great, and I like her attitude. However, she needs to threaten that she will first hold more hearings and call the witnesses that the Senate is threatening to ignore, such as Bolton - unless Mitch relents.
