It won’t matter much. It’s clear that the Trump administration blew this in every way they could have. It’s also clear that all the evidence in the world showing how badly Trump blew this won’t stop Republicans from saying this is nothing more than a partisan hit job.
And please, Nancy, don’t for the sake of ‘comity’ just put a report aside that is clearly litigation evidence. For the love of all that’s holy, please push forward with whatever legitimate evidence is brought forward. Lord knows there’s a ton of it, just like there was with Bush Jr. Please don’t make the same mistake again.
All true. But it needs to be done anyway. No rationally ordered society can countenance the kind of idiotic incompetence and corruption this administration showed in a deadly crisis without an inquiry to find out who all the guilty parties are (Kushner comes to mind) and what should be done about it. There are going to be succeeding waves of this virus before it’s all over, there’s one important reason to act right there.

Too late. We needed everyone focused on fixing the deficiencies in the government response weeks ago.
Now that Jared has fixed the opioid pandemic and secured peace in the Middle East, it’s only natural that he would be the one to cure the coronavirus.
And who’s gonna do that, Donald “Only I Can Fix It” Trump and his band of merry “acting” miscreants? Nothing’s getting fixed until Trump is removed from office and his regime obliterated.
