Well, there go the best case scenarios.
Sure, but is that not included in the following?
“[a] committee that will oversee the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.”
If he loses re-election, this investigation will lead to criminal charges against multiple Administration officials. Bet on it.
And if he wins re-election, it’ll lead to another Impeachment, should the Dems want to go down that road again.
We’ve seen this movie ad nauseum.
Trump as a “gambler”. That’s an allusion I’ve brought up myself on a few occasions. And he’ll keep “gambling” like an addicted gambler, because he thinks that one more big gamble will get him a big pot and wipe out his losses. I shudder to think what his next big gamble will be.
He’s been playin’ with house money his whole life.
IIRC, he owned the house(s) and lost it. To the tune of about $600 million.
Friend from the dance studio called to wish me happy B-day yesterday, she no longer likes trump or Fox news. She’s just a lifelong habitual R, not a trumper. She will not be voting for trump* in Nov.
Score one!
If we win the Senate and the White House next year, then yes, we can act on these findings. Otherwise, Senate Republicans will do anything they can to block any effective legislation on this matter. They’ll always place covering their asses over the lives of their constituents and, to accept any of the findings of this committee would be, effectively, acknowledging their guilt. They’ll fight very hard to avoid that.
Mob Boss-In-Chief to Nancy Pelosi: “Keep f***ing with me and watch what happens to your precious ‘American Family’. None of them will be safe. You hear me? Not a one of them will be safe.”
One would think that he is sure looking to be a hero in this administration. How many things has he been appointed to, then he moves on to the next thing. Probably not much money involved in most of duties, but, maybe just maybe he can make some big money here.
I hope this creep ultimately goes bankrupt.
Pelosi said that the committee’s purpose is to “root out waste, fraud and abuse” and “protect against price-gouging, profiteering and political favoritism.”
They’re right! She is anti- America! /s/
You’re too kind.
In my high school he would have been called a glory whore.
That would endear him to the Republican base. Get him to sexually assault a couple women, insult decorated POW veterans and go off on an occasional racist, xenophobic rant and he’d be a shoo-in for the Presidency. Americans just love all those personal qualities in a leader.
Cuomo’s given up on the Feds. “…we are on our own.”
And there it is. Cuomo might just as well ask to establish relations with South Korea and ask them for assistance.
As with impeachment, there’s a lot about the coronavirus response that’s out in the open, in the public domain, directly from Trump’s own mouth, twitter thumbs, and actions - and that should not be subject to just dismissing or spin, but the Republicans and media enablers and defenders will most certainly do that (just as with impeachment).
But (also as with impeachment) there’s a lot that’s hidden and non-public, and Trump, his entire administration, Barr, and Repubicans in Congress will do everything they can to keep it hidden.
Because, you know, that’s the best way to protect Americans and to make sure the next wave of covid-19 or the next pandemic is less disastrous.
Happy Birthday to you, wash your hands, happy birthday to you, still washing your hands, happy birthday valgalky
I am taking what you said seriously. Especially in the light of the power of NY State.

Technical/Personnel support.
S. Korea is a Powerhouse. Maybe some real good will come from this. I did not look at Cuomo’s announcement as an admission of defeat from him at all
Hands are raw from washing multiple times daily. And THANKS!
