This is how it’s done. A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge. This is how to guard the rule of law.

That meretricious liar that Americans in their wisdom elected as VP, that has been insulting allies and particularly Denmark as a “bad ally”, seems to have forgotten about this.

So, Is Louisiana the American Gulag? Where “dissidents” are quickly shipped off to? Just asking…

Why is coverage, even here at TPM, not focusing on the blatant illegality, unlawfulness and un Constitutionality of all of these trumped up “executive orders”? In headlines as well as deep in the weeds of the reporting?

If the Convict Would-be King issued an “executive order” that the sun would henceforth be compelled to rise in the west, because he hates Gavin Newsome, reporters should rightly report that the “president” was off his nut and Congress needed to act.

But they wouldn’t, would they?

Rather than mounting a concerted legislative effort to block DOGE’s rampage, Republican lawmakers are scrambling to make personal appeals to head off DOGE cuts, the NYT reports.

This reminds me of how Russian citizens defer to Putin. They never directly confront or critisize him. Instead, it always a personal appeal “Please tell Putin when you see him that we need more bed sheets here in Moscow”.

Republican law makers really appear to have fully accepted Donald Trump as their King, Czar or cult leader.

Dumb Power!!

“If there’s a grand strategy at work here, I don’t know what it is … he’s gambling with the national security of the United States. If this continues, a group chat foul will be the least of our concerns, and all the fist and flag emojis in the world won’t save us,” she said.
