PA GOP Queues Up First Post-RBG Election Dispute For SCOTUS | Talking Points Memo

In a sign of how critical Pennsylvania is to the Republican Party’s election litigation strategy, the state GOP wants the U.S. Supreme Court to review a state case that opened up absentee voting, while the Trump campaign is seeking to revive a federal lawsuit targeting Pennsylvania’s plans for pandemic voting.

Old lady ain’t buried yet… Who the next president is going to be will be decided by the six conservatives in the Supreme Court.

So…how do recusals work with SCOTUS justices appointed by a President who is a litigant again?

The “old lady” while while alive was more human with all that that means than anybody still left alive today. Have some f’king respect for her and all she accomplished while she lived. No one ever again will as close to those accomplishments.

Good to see PA is in the game. Joe has an edge up. Hence the GOP trying to muck it up.

“even if they lacked postmarks confirming they were sent by then.”

Because guess who has been planning to post-postmark ballots. Guess…

DO NOT MAIL A BALLOT BY DROPPING IT IN A BOX. DO IT IN PERSON AND CHECK HOW THEY POSTMARK YOUR BALLOT BEFORE LEAVING.

I guess we’ll find out shortly if the conservatives on the SC are willing to undo election decisions by the states in order to help Republicans win elections. They are dumb if they start making biased decisions now, every single one will just encourage the belief that the SC is owned by Republicans now and that there will be no justice until that changes.

“The problem,” the attorney for the Guardians Of Pandemics will tell the court, “is that people are trying to exercise their right to vote. Whenever they do that we immediately suffer irreparable damage.”

Yes they will be proving that reform is desperately needed and will be begging to be reformed.

Will the Chief Justice remain consistent to not wanting to muck with redistricting and decide against even hearing these obvious ploys? Methinks not.

Callista Gingrich is voting for Biden?

They have to. I mean, first, they hope they’re about to pick the person who will swing the court to decide everything in their favor for th enext 30 years. But also, they simply have to keep the suits going until they lose. It creates more of an impression that there’s a mess and that the election can’t be trusted. They are going to sue in every state Trump loses other than ones like MA. I’d say if you look at Nate Silver’s winding pathway graphic, they’ll be suing in any state within 7 states of the midpoint line, either direction, that they end up losing. The election just cannot under any circumstances be allowed to look legitimate.

Don’t be silly. Gingrich doesn’t let his womenfolk vote.

I think the response will be some polite legalese version of “I got your recusal, RIGHT HERE.”

Odd coming from Barret, but okay.

Again I ask, do we now know why Trump’s mother wanted Donnie out of the house and in military boarding school?
I wonder if niece Mary got Aunt Maryanne to admit that the time Donnie was “away” was the best time in her whole life?
