We need to get people out to the polls and support them once they get there this weekend and all the way up to the final lines on election night. Send out the sports figures, music icons and celebrities (like Paul Rudd who was handing out donuts in the rain today), as well as local Dems offering water, food, lawn chairs, and first aid.
I want the network media divas to see bodies, lots of them, on those lines and in support who are committed to the cause and striving to vote till the very last second.
The GOP can send in their goons with AR 15s. That will be the kind of visual on TV that will last for decades and make the “Undecided” wonder if they are all that committed to the GOP’s Second Coming of God after all.

That really makes me think they’re turning blue. Feckin’ Republicans have always been the super motivated ones. It’s our people who don’t turn out, especially our poorer working people – who don’t get time off to vote.

According to the NYT, people who stayed home in 2016 are voting big time this year. Last I heard, it was Democrats who sat home in 2016.

Patrick is trying to fire up Rs to vote-- when he may succeed in getting even more Ds out today.
Voting in person on Tuesday is the path most voters here (Harris County) wanted to avoid. Rs may have shot themselves in the foot with one vote-slowing tactic. By changing this ballot to no-straight-ticket? Meaning you have to select a candidate for each race? The number of voters who will be able to vote on Tuesday will be reduced. It’s just going to take longer. Firmly believe the great majority of early voters here leans heavily Democratic.
Our County Clerk’s office learned from the issues we had with the primary election in March-- and have super-optimized the process in ways I would not have imagined.
Didn’t hurt that Greg Abbott in either a grave mistake-- or rare show of conscience-- extended early voting in Texas by 6 days by EO. Betting Patrick has been flogging Abbott daily for that one.

This Dan Patrick (politician, not the sports person), is a slime ball.
Here in Pima County, AZ early voting (mail in or in person) has hit 50% of all registeted voters. If there is a decent turn out Tuesday we could hit 70% participation and that has me gobsmacked. In 2016 all votes came to approx 50% here.
