Capitol Police officer Eugene Goodman on Tuesday expressed his mixed feelings about the recognition he’s been given ever since a video of him leading a mob of Trump supporters away from the Senate chamber so lawmakers could evacuate went viral last year.
Sounds like a sensible guy. Not enough of those around these days!
At least somebody has a sense of humor about those events.

Officer Goodman is in a different category of human being compared to Donnie and Kim Jong Un.

He’s not only a hero and self-effacing, he’s got a ton of common sense and has his priorities straight. Not many people understand the double edge nature of fame, especially political fame. He’s putting his family and quality of life first, and it’s hard to argue with that.

Romney has accumulated enough wealth that he doesn’t have to answer to anyone. One wonders why he continues to be such a tool, and in particular such a tool of the plutocrats who are doubtless still controlling the republican party.
