Is that a threat? I think that is a threat. I think you just threatened a witness.

Well done, sir - a threat against a witness on national television.

Where do they find these people?

What Nunes does not understand is that this is 2019, not 2017.

Because you can’t kill democracy when the lights are still on.

Have fun

We’ve definitely gone ‘round the bend.

Nunes wanted it done behind closed doors because it’s much easier to selectively leak information… when it’s out in public there is no redaction or spin💀

If I was the witness and Nunes said this to me, my response would be something along the lines of …

“Moo.”

I think Nunes does not understand that playing to Spanky may no longer be a good strategy.

Devin’s Mom’s cow used her time to question why the DNI chose to ignore the guiding statute and tell the criminals that they have been caught and what he should do next.

At least the cow knows why they are there and takes the proceedings seriously

Devin on the other hand thinks America’s national security is a joke to be made fun of

I’m a long time reading and subscriber. I do think that the headline on this article is an example of what drives people batty about the media. It’s a click-bait and deceptive. Studies show many people only read the headlines, and this one implies that Nunes said “Be careful what you say or we’ll come after you”, and that’s not what happened. And frankly, I don’t think it was a threat to DNI at all, it was a dig at the media and Democrats. But headline implies something else.

Closed doors. Because democracy dies in quiet rooms. This is government for the elite by the elite. The Press and the public don’t get to see how the sausage is made lest they suddenly become aware these people are not seeking their best interests.

Does Nunes really think this will go down well at home (CA home, not IA home)? He has a credible Dem challenger and now Issa is thinking of going for the farmboy grifter’s seat.

Nunes might have said something along the lines of, we’re glad you’re here to tell the truth, and you should do so without fear of repercussions.

Given the Nunes’ history, this is a threat. I agree by itself this may have been a stylized form of the miranda warning, but this was a clear message from a Trump sycophant.

I see Nunes is still milking his fifteen minutes.

What, no threats against his wife or parents, ala Michael Cohen?
