The state has been under an extreme gerrymander by the legislature. Before 2020 I seem to recall we were all looking at NC as a moderate, even Democratic leaning state. They were making some real progressive moves in the state as I recall. Honestly, ask someone from NC to give you their recent history. I just know that DOJ and the Supreme Court are still dealing with that state’s illegal gerrymandering and SCOTUS seems to want to rule on it before the NC Supreme Court can address it again as they already shot down the gerrymandering once I think.

Ah, my mistake. I thought they simply renamed Facebook because it had gotten such a horrid reputation and it was a PR move to distance themselves from that problem.

Well, these are the same morons who brought us the “bathroom bill” that not only made NC the laughingstock of the world, but cost the state Billions in lost conventions, tournaments, jobs and tourism. They now have control of thee NC supreme Court. They are sure that they are on a roll now, and will turn a once progressive State into a Theocratic Wasteland.

One thing I will say that’s positive about DeSantis (don’t believe me)…he has some adorable looking kids, all quite young. Seems like he has a tendency to parade them around a lot too. Apparently that’s his bona fides that he’s some kind of loving father and they are his proof for the public to see.
Maybe they’ll grow up and tell the world what he’s really like. He seems really creepy to me with an obsession to control what other people’s families can or can’t do with raising their own children.
