Just before Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) was forcibly removed from a Department of Homeland Security press briefing, forced to the ground and then handcuffed for asking a question, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was in the middle of making a bizarre but crucial point. “We are not going away,” she said, referring to the National Guard…

Noem needs to resign ASAP. Letting her goons assault a Senator is grounds for impeachment.

Noem’s saying she’s there to overthrow the elected mayor and governor makes her sound like a wannabe warlord or part of a coup.

I am pretty sure Noem hs been brought in to turn the pressure cooker up to 13 and get that violence they are all salivating for.

A few years back I wrote about Sen. Tom Cotton’s (R-AR) ongoing relationship with encouraging violence against protesters. At the time he was openly mulling whether some protesters might need to have “their skin ripped off.”

My skin on my lower legs comes off with light trauma. At this point in my life, I rip large sections of my skin off my feet when I bump into an obstacle, etc. It takes weeks to heal, and never heals correctly. (I have dominant dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa.)

I want to protest, but I’m terrified of getting injured, so I probably won’t.

Fear of physical harm is an effective deterrent to exercising your free speech, and Senator Cotton knows this.

This is why the First Felon put her into the spot. Remember: she is the one that murdered a dog and a goat, because they did not behave the way she wanted them to behave, even though they were behaving like the animals they were.

She is looking forward to doing the same to any protester that she doesn’t like. There is no contest here; she is doing exactly what she was hired to do.

She is probably more inhuman than any other officer of this government, including the nincompoop at the top.

Jesus fucking Christ this woman is stupid. Someone needs to buy her a middle school civics text.

She doesn’t care. And we have to stop thinking that she ever will. She demonstrated her inhumanity as governor of South Dakota. She is not going to change because we hand her a book that she will probably burn before she would read it.

Maybe she should sponsor of dog-killing contest.

South Dakota, actually, as if you would notice a difference.

My bad. Will fix.

But she probably won’t read it. She maybe like CF and doesn’t read.

BTW: The bill to defund NPR passed the House today. Goes to the Senate where it only needs a simple majority.

"At least three Senate Republicans have signaled some unease about being force-fed the Musk bros’ dangerous handiwork. Stay tuned. "

Now is not the time to blather about how all MAGAnuts are the same and none of them can ever be made to see reason. Now is the time to continue encouraging these three, and as many others as you can get in touch with/form a relationship with to vote NO on the Bloated Hideous Recission bill.

Just sayin’ …

All the more reason there should be continuing calls for her to resign in disgrace.
