Good lawyering played a part.
I thought that too. Better analogy is banana slug oozing away from a salt pile.
Someone mentioned in an article I read earlier (don’t remember now where I saw it) that they are freaking about both losing law suits and not being able to borrow to expand their businesses. Banks don’t like to loan money to businesses that are likely to lose big dollar lawsuits. Let’s hope they get sued and it puts them into a death spiral. It would not only take them out but keep new ones from popping up and doing the same thing.
Up to their collective ass in potential law suits.
Monitor their comment sections (from a safe distance). As long as the comments stay firmly on the side of bonkers conspiracy, that’s strong evidence that the retractions are neither prominent nor clear enough. Often a retraction is considered sufficient to undo the damage done by a malicious falsehood, but here we have ongoing proof that it isn’t.
I’d have thought you learned that lesson some time ago.
and note it has not reported as true certain claims made about these companies.
Think about that. Yeah we’ve been flogging this story for a month and a half, and all our brainwashed listeners THINK it’s true, but we never MEANT to report it as truth.
And this underscores just how crucial it is to keep the courts as free from corruption as possible.
Oh, no! Over to OANN and RT for real Trumpy coverage!
You shall know the truth, and the truth will kick your ass.
Not quite. They’re admitting that there is no factual basis to the claims, but still blaming the lying on the guests who used their networks to spread the specious claims.
They’re doing this because they’re afraid Republicans in Georgia won’t vote, right?
Did he not have his Smoking Jacket available for broadcast?
In other news… I told my GF that if I ever again put on a matched set of sweats thinking I’m styling going shopping…

Exactly how would one characterize this fellow’s accent? It’s New York, but it’s not Michael Cohen New York, it’s not Andrew Cuomo New York, and it’s not Danny Reagen New York. I’m from the Valley, and I understand New York but can’t speak it.
Will John Tabacco’s program now run with a warning statement: Surgeon General’s Warning:
Watching Newsmax programs may cause shortness of breathe because they convinced you that COVID-19 is only like having a bad case of the flu. May complicate brain functions by lying to viewers 24/7/365.
Et cognoscetis veritatem, et veritas stimulum calcitrare vestrum asinus.
(Cicero, I think it was, but don’t quote me.)
No matter what, they still need to be held to account in the courthouse. Set an example. You peddle in lies and traitorous crap, you will have your life ruined.
BTW, Mike Flynn needs to be sued also. No pardons for civil suits, motherfuckers!
Oh my G-d, it’s even worse than we dared imagine!
The Biden conspiracy runs so deep that its tentacles reach even to FOX, OAN and Newsmax!!!
You know the funny thing is that Trump was talking about changing the law so that politicians can sue news organizations. That would mean that Biden could sue these clowns…
