Thanks for the correction.

Yeah what did you expect in such a toxic outfit as Newsmax? There is probably a Joe Poisson too.

Good guess. And accurate.

What I loving most about this is how the goober viewers are getting all worked pleading that the networks stay on message and keep lying to them relentlessly. They’re losing their on screen doses of fantasy and their confirmation bias well is running dry.

Suck it up losers. You lost again.

OT, but I had to laugh…THIS is what they’re reduced to: “Biden saying the right thing means he must have considered doing the wrong thing, which is concerning and requires investigation…”

They’re pretty well fucked. There is clearly constitutional “malice” here, i.e., they made their statements about these companies with knowledge that they were false or with reckless indifference to their truth or falsity. Their best defense strategy would probably be to get the plaintiffs ruled to be public figures, which would require them to prove actual damages instead of just letting the jury award whatever it wants, as juries often get to do with private figure plaintiffs. But even then, I presume that these plaintiffs have deep enough pockets to engage some experts to work up a damage model.

So yeah, Fox and Newsmax are scrambling now because their lawyers have told them they really shit the bed on this. OANN might just be crazy enough not to follow suit.

Yet said claims were reported nevertheless. I don’t recall any disclaimers like “the following report is not true, but we’ll report it anyway.”

Trying to avoid being the new Gawker. And what Gawker made public was all true.

“Newsmax would like to clarify its news coverage and note it has not reported as true certain claims made about these companies.”

Our “news coverage” was undertaken in the true spirit of investigative journalism. We report, you decide.

Hugo Chavez is paying the lawyers that are harassing the news outlets who are simply trying to report the truth.

Special session of Congress must get a very special a bestest Tort reform law passed asap that explicitly spells out that it is OK for these three to lie about Democrats and anything else they desire.

Let’s not give up on election fraud or possibly tampered with machines so quickly:

I’m not suggesting this actually happened, but the strange change in trends across so many counties is a lot more suspicious than anything Trump has brought up. And the same machines got used in Graham’s and Collins’ races that they won FAR more easily than anyone could have expected from polling (Collins hadn’t lead in a single poll since July). Proof of nothing, but more worth considering than anything in the Kraken.
