New documents from the Mueller investigation tie Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort more closely to the beginnings of President Trump’s Ukraine pressure campaign.

NABU’s involvement in Manafort’s downfall has become a pillar of theories that the Obama administration conspired with Ukraine to hurt the Trump campaign.
It’s gobsmacking that even Trumpers are stupid enough to believe that was a thing. If Obama had wanted to find a sneaky way to hurt the Trump campaign, there were a lot easier and more effective ways than going after one of his many campaign managers.
Looks like things are going in that direction, and the flood waters are rising up on Donnie the Don.

I really don’t understand how anything about Manafort was going to be seen as going after Trump. Manafort a man who had spent a lot of time in Ukraine where Trump wasn’t a player, wasn’t going to build a Tower, and the Trump kids had no side hustles going on.
Who here can remember why Cory was replaced with Paulie? Because if it was over shoving that female reporter that seems to so long ago and not even remotely bad in what was happening in TrumpWorld since.
Mueller chose to stop this investigation which was related to ongoing crimes? Or did he transfer all these into other departments to be shut down by other Trump cronies?

Again - I’m wondering exactly HOW any ‘new revelations’ - can be used to somehow enhance or leverage the case for impeachment in the Senate ‘trial’. (Yeah )
It’s all glorious fodder for the narrative. More ‘public airing’ of the corruption and collusion with Russia - but, is it valuable to the House’s case in the Senate? Assuming it is allowed to be presented.
I’m not unhappy with this sudden tsunami - I think its great news for the Dem’s public position, puts more pressure on Senate Republican’s to … wait, I was going to say ‘do the honorable thing’ - but it’s apparent no new evidence of corruption is going to generate anything more than ‘serious concern’ or ‘troubling comments’ from the talking heads.
Someone please explain how this and Parnas’ phone - can be ‘attached’ somehow to the two counts from the impeachment. I’m hoping it can somehow - but I don’t see where.

If that’s what they are being fed that’s what they will gobble up. They are hungry and eager for anything to hide behind; truth doesn’t matter anymore to them. If your pose a question they can’t truthfully answer they just trot out another lie.
That’s why I have stopped trying to argue with them.
When all is said and done, there might not be enough piano strings available for tying up the corrupt and treasonous.

No one should forget that Manaford (who also was the millionaire Mercers’ agent) faked plane trouble to keep Trump overnight and push Pence on him. I intensely dislike Christie, but he would have leaked a lot (perhaps tipping Mueller’s investigation) and there’s a small chance he would have started Amendment 25 against Trump (unless Putin compromised him, too).
