Interesting. Internal email he sent yesterday said departure due to unforseen circumstances. Lots of those this year. Could the GOP be dragging out blackmail on Pak because he is a traitor to the criminal autocrat that appointed him? GOP planning to seize ballots in Georgia for another fraudit?

Incredible…short of wearing a sign saying “I’m Guilty as Fuck”, Trump is making about as obvious a confession as a person can offer.

Only 9999 more crimes to go…

Well, it’s quite clear that DJT wasn’t concerned about “a” Deep State, per se. He was only concerned about purging any Deep State members who were against him, keeping those who favored him. His instincts are, and have always been, corrupt and autocratic.

Previous reporting on TPM

On a call Monday, as reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Acting U.S. Attorney Bobby Christine — who had been handpicked by Trump to lead the Atlanta office after the abrupt departure of Byung J. “BJay” Pak — told his new office that he was closing the two big remaining voter fraud cases from the 2020 election, because there was “no there, there.”

So no one on Trump Crazy Camp got what they wanted. I wonder if any of these yahoos are being questioned by the Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in her investigation of Trump’s attempt to mess with the election results?

The more we learn the more it backs the obvious that drump was abusing his power to try to undermine our democracy.

And yet I keep seeing people saying that we don’t know yet and it could be all legit etc etc. These are the same people who said don’t worry about Barr because he is a insitutionlist.

The Fulton County, Georgia DA, Ms. Fani T. Willis, is investigating TFG’s electoral interference in Georgia (state law). Neither the Trump, nor conventional Republican, machine has much to offer her, nor would she have any apparent need of them.

Zealously defending her constituent’s votes would appear to have only upsides for her future prospects, so I’m hopeful that she will pursue the case vigorously.

As a public school teacher, I was made well aware that anything that I emailed or wrote was potential evidence. I guess the emails could be vague enough not to be incriminatory, but yikes, these folks didn’t think anyone else was ever going to get a look at this stuff. When you combine the emails with the phone calls and leaks the emails end up looking like a gun in the first act of a Chekov play. Must have been significant pressure from the WH.

Am I imagining it or did it happen often enough in this last spasm of Trumpian reality denial that they’d force somebody out for saying look, there’s no fraud here and put somebody else in who said, in turn, look, there’s no fraud here?

“Class act”… as opposed to the other guys trying to gin up sedition and insurrection… apparently ‘being classy’ in such an environment was too difficult for many of the other Twisslerings at DOJ, etc.

Poor soul is trying to revive a dead political career… as far as the Trumptards are concerned this is too little, way too late. He should have found those 12K votes that Trump asked for.
