Use of one method of throwing sand in the gears of destruction does not preempt the use of better tools. Why not both? Whatever slows the Russian takeover of our government is what I want.

Mr. Timm doesn’t seem to understand that

Apologies for the nerdspeak. It’s a Virtual Reality headset that puts you inside a simulated 3D world. The Oculus Quest was one of the first commercially successful ones (this is a later model).

I am willing to bet that all government payment will be adorned with Trump’s signature the same way the COVID relief checks were. I knew people who actually believed that those checks came out of Trump’s personal checking account.

For about three years, Whitaker served on the advisory board for World Patent Marketing, a company promoting inventions that was investigated, fined, and eventually shut down by the Federal Trade Commission.

Most Americans don’t care about any of that. The sooner the rest of us drop our outrage about our fellow Americans not caring about rape, or slaughtered school children, or blatant theft on an industrial scale, or genocide in one part of the world or another, then the sooner we will start winning elections again.
Democrats need to see the people of the United States for who they are, not who they imagine and want them to be. Americans want bread and circuses. Democrats better figure out how to give it to them.

This election has reduced the states I’m willing to visit to just 19. I’m hoping the next election gets that number up to 25, but I’ve got my doubts.
Suicide rates have been climbing steadily, and it looks like a plurality of the electorate is ready to join the trend. Unfortunately it’ll be fatal for all of us if the voters don’t come to their senses in 2026 and 2028. Maybe they will get some help to do so from enactment of a lot of Project 2025, which as Tim Walz warned us repeatedly was the plan BECAUSE THEY WROTE IT DOWN - and now its authors are being given the central positions of power in the Executive. Horrifying but the Congressional Republicans remaining spineless cowards may be our best hope.
Sorry for being a Debbie Downer this morning, but every day I wake up and cannot wrap head around the reality that this traitorous criminal will be President again. Gabbard to head intelligence, Hesgreth Defense, Whitaker Ambassador to NATO? Which ally can ever take is seriously again?

How did she get to his room? She is arguing with him loudly. Described as being not intoxicated & who’s to say she was not out for all she can get.
Afterall, the woman she was crotch blocking for left. Yet, Jane Doe continued to remain in his company. Doe, liked what she saw, chiseled chin & firm & strong muscular torso that she desired. Her crotch blocking duty had been done long ago. The pool argument just intensified desire for both of them. So, she went to his room……then had regrets.
He just be incredibly busy. That’s like a Rockefeller descendent getting paid to clean up oil spills. They are making money on both sides. We should also be so lucky as to benefit from generational wealth and full employment like that.

Right, they aren’t only for games. They’re used in that kind of therapy, and there are more expensive ones like a recent Apple version designed for use in industrial, medical, and scientific applications.
VR headsets might be something of a passing fad, in favor of AR (Augmented Reality) headsets and glasses, which are more comfortable and unobtrusive. AR puts a visual overlay on top of what you see in the real world.
