The RW Senators are hardening around the stance that the mob is responsible for what they did, not Chump. Of course, that comes after the RW Senators claimed it was antifa, or Soros, or Hillary were responsible. Or that Dems would be responsible for more violence if they persist. So once everyone but Chump has been eliminated…and now that he is left holding the bag…they pivot to the stance that the rioters are responsible for themselves.
6:30 AM here in AZ and I am greeted by a smiling mugging for the camera image of the orange gas bag. Not how I want to start my day.
The videos are hard to watch. And then there’s the video showing phones being pinged during trump’s Ellipse speech and that same crowd moving to the Capitol as a mob. That should have been sufficient proof they acted on trump’s words. But no, the Senators will deny reality.
…and then walked away.
They shouldn’t think twice. Because they lead consequence-free lives.
Did they lift a finger to help their beleagured colleagues that day?
Did 45*, who once claimed he would go into a building with an active shooter to save the day stride in and lay waste to the bad guys?
No, the party that has been in thrall to the NRA and male posturing and war for years accuses the Democrats of glorifying violence.
Aided and abetted by Pence and every senator that lied and promulgated ‘stop the steal.’
And it needs to be said, but MORE CITIZENS voted for Biden. This fact seems to be getting lost in the media narrative. Like there were so many 45* voters that the election was close or unfair or something.
Gives me gooseflesh … law enforcement will take Jan. 6 into account on the next encounter.

I would argue that the jury, as it were, is still out on that question; we are not out of the woods, yet. Not by a long shot.
The only way for justice to be done then, is a Hilary and 45* cage match.
