As the article explains, he and another wingnut lobbyist were discussing the anti-trans “Bathroom Bill” that would have allowed people to use public restrooms that matched their gender expression. He thought he was being like Oscar Schindler because not having to pee next to a transgender person is like surviving Auschwitz. Or something.
