House Judiciary Committee chair Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) confirmed in a Sunday afternoon statement that he will miss part of the Senate impeachment trial due to his wife’s hospitalization in New York where she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
All the best to Congressman Nadler and his family. He’s fought valiantly for America and it’s much appreciated. I hope he takes all the time he needs to support his family.
Agreed, his family should be his concern at this time. As to the R’s: only the most hypocritical amongst them should dare to criticize; after all the count of Absent R Senators (those required by the constitution to be present) at one point was 20.
True. He can’t help himself. Any tiny piece of gloating or bullying or preening is worth his while in his tiny legume of a brain. All best to Nadler and his wife. He’s put up quite the class-act opposition to the president.
Something does not add up. A lot of Democrats involved in the impeachment of the Skanky Putin Whore are seeing more health issues and hardship than ever. First it was Congressman Elijah Cummings, now it Congressman Jerrold Nadler’s wife, and Congressman Adam Schiff had a fatwa issued on him by the POTUS on Twitter today. Maybe it is just a statistical anomaly, but I no longer trust the DoJ, FBI and the conservative judiciary. They all seem to be working for the Trump Family and Organization.
Mr Nadler you, your wife and all your family have what support I can offer.
I have faced a diagnosis of cancer twice. It is very very scary wnen your physician says the word “cancer” in relation to “yourself”. My cases were unrelated to each other and solved with surgery… thankfully.
Mr Nadler is showing us all that family is more important that anything else and that is truth.
Yep, hearing cancer is when you’re ready to crawl into a hole. The first time I heard it with breast cancer I was certain I would die, but in retrospect it was a good diagnosis and I only had a lumpectomy and opted out of radiation. I was only in my 40’s which was pretty young for breast cancer, but I’m still here many years later.
