He actually wanted Trump to bomb Mexico to stop immigration. I looked at him like, hey, I thought you were pro life and Christian. He didn’t see any contradictions with his pro life or Christian beliefs in bombing Mexico…

At the end of the day she’s a Republican and they are never to be trusted. To her point though, doesn’t the Constitution require that the Senate be impartial during an impeachment trial? It does: "Rule XXV of the Senate Rules in Impeachment Trials provides the text: ”I solemnly swear (or affirm) that in all things appertaining to the trial of ____, now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws, so help me God.”
Technically I guess they haven’t taken this oath yet, but McConnell and Graham have preemptively nullified their impartiality, so who’s gonna call Bullshit when they actually do take the oath?
Also too, wouldn’t it be clearer if folks just came out and said McConnell in declaring his intent to work with the White House is breaching his constitutional responsibilities? I hear that “Real” Americans in the heartland are big on this Constitutional stuff.

It all depends on context. In the case of Republican argument (Commonly known as a bad faith argument) they are of equal value. That is to say of no value at all.
Difficulties arise in the ratings scale when good faith arguments are made, but it’ll be a long long time and a lot of structural changes on the Republican side before we’ll ever have to worry about that.

The FIRST thing I want to see happen if we get a Dem Pres. is new sanctions against Russia that ban ALL Russian investment in the USA, including this goddamned thing. It’s an absolute scandal that this Putin asshole-buddy is able to do business in our country. (Thank you Moscow Mitch, you traitorous bastard).

That’s senate rules, not the constitution. And during the trial even the constitution can be overridden if the senate majority and the chief justice of the supreme court want it. Who are you going to appeal to?
