MS Flag Under Debate Due To Confederate Iconography

I see what you mean, but it’s chicken and egg – which came first?
Leaders lead; demagogues exploit.

In Mississippi, the leaders are the demagogues.

One of his best.

And his riff, “Here’s to the State of Richard Nixon,” was also good.

I guess that they don’t call me Danny Dorko for nothin’. Believe it or not, but, I had never heard that song before. It’s beautiful! Unfortunately, it also appears to be timeless. But let’s hope not.

Thanks for sharing it with me.

Not hard to believe. Most people have probably only heard There but for Fortune and Draft Dodger Rag. I still tear up when I think of what we’ve lost. Phil Ochs was a treasure.

Here’re two more you may or may not have heard, but I love them:

Too Many Martyrs

ETA: Phil Ochs’s music is timeless.

Think it was Clive James who said of Jane Fonda that he believed in most of the things she did, and before she did, but when he found they had a common belief, he immediately reevaluated its validity.

You just like to argue pointlessly don’t you? I didn’t frame story as you state.

Your failure to get the point does not mean there was pointlessly arguing.

I got your point. However, your point did not relate to my comment. I’m done.

Have we reached that great and glorious day with Trump??? Sure looks like it.

Yea, verily. Mencken was prescient if nothing else.
