Didn’t see anything in the article that supports the headline; i.e., Weisselberg could be cooperating on some issues and the DA could just be piling on potential charges to make sure a deal struck is a deal with opening for more cooperation.

Thing about Johnson, he was (or appeared to be) a straight-ahead boring party line Republican before becoming “kind of odd.” Maybe he was always odd or maybe he’s jammed up, beholding to McConnell for dirty Russian money McConnell doled out for Johnson’s 2016 reelection. I’d like to know what goes on behind the curtains but guess I never will.
