Classic problem with amateurs at the grill,
Or they can’t wait for their steak to get to room temperature - goes right from the fridge to the grill.

That would be an impossible defense, but I know what you mean.
I suspect Weisselberg’s lawyers have told him to wait for the charges before making any decisions about any deal with prosecutors.
OT… this Member of Congress should be expelled today!!
Washington (CNN) Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert, known for her outspoken right-wing views, tweeted last week: “The same liberals that legalized knowingly spreading HIV are now pushing Americans to take COVID tests or show proof of vaccination to enter restaurants. No. We’re not playing your games.”
… … … …
There is no excuse for someone saying irresponsible shit like this.
Is this guy going to take the fall for Trump? For TRUMP? Nah.
Seems more like a schlub who had good fortune for way too long. And now he’s realizing it.
As the kids say, “shit happens.” And as Nelson would say, “Ha Ha”
Were not many members of her party calling for HIV carriers to be imprisoned* to protect public health?
(*Dare I say re-education camps?)
I just assumed Weisselberg would be unable to face the guilt and shame for doing these things behind Our President’s back, besmirching an otherwise unblemished reputation.
Or he’s a dim bulb w/o a thought between his ears who got his mind blown by Tea Party and the Trumpworld.
Are people really still clinging to the idea of anyone flipping on America’s Most Successful Criminal? Michael Cohen is the exception, not the rule.
I think it’s because Trump reset the rules on what people in power could get away with saying out loud. The more outrageous the better, because it gets attention. The R base loves it, so it keeps you from being primaried in your next reelection bid.
God damn! Let’s convict somebody, anybody.
If we can’t lock them up, can we at least take away their ostrich coat?
For many of them, it didn’t necessarily make sense to flip when you knew you had a pardon coming. No one has a pardon coming now.
The statute of limitations clock must be ticking on at least some of the financial crimes from the period before Trump was elected. Civil tax fraud might not have a statute of limitations, but I think there are time limits on money laundering and bank fraud. So I think we might see some of this stuff hit the courts pretty soon before these limits expire.
I’m not sure I can claim to fill out the little ovals perfectly, but I come pretty close. I start working around the edges and keep going toward the middle until the oval is filled. I rarely go outside the lines. And yes, I am rather OCD. What gave it away?
He married well and thinks he is a genius.
And proves on a regular basis he is not.
Married the boss’s daughter if I’m not mistaken.
Yup
We can be certain that R voters are either in denial about the corruption in their party or know about it and don’t care. Their party leaders pander to the R party members and that’s all they need to do to keep their base.
August 15 is only two months away
