The Washington Post did the math: At least a third of the nearly 700 Republicans who’ve filed to run in 2022 House or Senate campaigns have endorsed Trump’s lies about the 2020 election.
The stupid motherfuckers.
They are setting up their next shot to overthrow. They always were. When we protest their theft, they will say: “See? Both sides, etc.” Tedious and infuriatiing.

Here’s hoping. The courts seem to be giving the states a lot of leeway with election law. “You can only steal elections if you have enacted laws that legitimate election theft…”
…and I regret being wrong about the guy. I think he was a good president, I think he made a lot of good decisions for people, and I think he took a lot of flak.

EVERY TIME any one of these Bozos is interviewed, or makes a statement they should be forced to defend the BIG LIE. Sadly, a large part of the media always ‘both sides’ it, in what is a HUGE win for the GOP.
In my opinion the media is making the same mistake it made in 2018-2019 by spending way to much space talking about Trump and giving him way to much free plublicity. Lyndon Johnson used to say “l don’t care what you say about me just mention my name.” This philosophy seems to very much apply to Trump. It is time to never cover his nonsense and let him quietly fade into the sunset.
Effectively there have already been “proof of concept” over-turn election prototypes that have been tested.
Look at Florida’s statewide public vote on the restoration of voting right for felons who completed their sentences - the public approved it - BY A SUPER MAJORITY - there was no ambiguity as to the will of the vast majority… they overwhelmingly supported the idea that if you complete the time you were required to serve - you regain your right to vote.
But … then it went to Florida’s Republican controlled legislature and they tortured the details and essentially flipped the bird at democracy & overturned the will of the vast majority.
Believe there also was a public question in Missouri that got knifed in the back by the state legislature.
It will be a quantum leap of totalatrian fascist audacity to have a Democratic candidate win an election by, say 53% to 46% … and then have a states Republican legislature proclaim that vague and unsubstantiated suspicions of “impropriety” cause them to reject the results and appoint the Republican.
This is going to get people killed.
