Which of the five designated group(s) based on the five polling places opened were they from: the Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch or Kavanaugh?

In a string of posts that began a bit after 6 am Eastern time, Trump lambasted MSNBC in particular, and the “Lamestream Media” in general, ghoulishly bragged about his “great ‘ratings’” during daily press briefings ostensibly about a pandemic, fudged polling numbers to inflate his popularity, and promised to bail out the US energy industry. To close out the morning, he retweeted posts from someone with the handle @SexCounseling.

How many doctors did the Supreme Court consult with before making this decision?

Oh well, let’s just go with the usual right-wing Get Out Of Jail Free Card: Who could have predicted?

OT: In Josh’s piece about How Deadly is COVID19? NYC Sets a Lower Bound it’s worth noting that as of this morning, New York state has 252,094 cases and 19,410 deaths, which yield a current case-fatality ratio of 7.7%.

New York has a population of 19,453,561 and with 252,094 cases, that’s an infection rate of 1.296%.

New York has conducted 633,861 tests which is about ~3.2% tested.

I posit that New York City is driving most of those numbers, so if we were to look at just the city, it would be even worse than those numbers for the state.

Which is to say, even Josh’s argument that those trying to undersell the falsity of the disease is, in and of itself, underselling the lethality of it in the city (state) of New York.

How about some criminal charges. Charge the legislators with endangering public health. Tack on the 4 State Supreme Court judges. And the fun part is that they would have to recuse themselves, meaning that they would not have a majority… (JK, but would be fun to watch).

Oh and also “crisis actors” and “you can’t prove it” and “probably actually came from a place with a Democrat governor like Minnesota or Illinois”.

More pressure to return to work. And if the employees won’t sign it?

Hey, it’s ridiculous that they shut down those meat-processing plants over a mere few hundred cases.

Heck, not even 20 people would be expected to die out of it, and quarterly sales need their boost…

If only. Given the circumstances that day and the ensuing results, though, I suspect Ds will bear the brunt of the damage.

Seems WI Repub legislators, Repub WI State Supreme Court and Repub appointed U.S. Supreme Court members were allowed to vote via absentee ballot, but normal citizens were not. Revolting!
