FWIW, I have a very good friend who is very active in the League of Women Voters (non-partisan group) in the Detroit area. They have been active (poll/count) observers during recent elections and they are watching this sort of stuff closely. They helped get the district reform initiative on the ballot (later axed by Snyder and the state GQP after it won with 60% of the electorate).

While they sort of fly under the radar, they can make a difference. Any Michigan TPM ladies who aren’t involved might want to consider. They do good work.

This guy is an idiot, who is now well past his buffoonery date. I keep pointing out that the only reason that the voters in his district keep sending him back is that they don’t want him in the district, interacting with them. So it’s safer for them to send to DC.

Yep. What’s going to happen is that these people will invent reasons to be throwing Dem voters’ ballots in the “doesn’t count” pile and piling conspiracy theory nonsense on top. We’ll have no way of knowing about it ever, especially when it comes to sparsely populated counties in East Klantown in the middle of nowhere, where “well of course the votes were ALL red” will be the conventional wisdom. BUT, if we do find out or have reason to investigate…say a recount is triggered or some challenge brought by a candidate…once the federal gov’t UNDER BIDEN comes in to investigate and fix the situation, the entire Faux News GQP Trump KKKult will treat it as Biden abusing the Federal government to rig the elections and give control to the Dems. We’ll have instant riots and AR-15s as far as the eye can see. November 2022 is a GUARANTEED kkklownshow.
