Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel on Tuesday announced charges against a man for making death threats against President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D).
Michigan resident Joshua Docter, 21, is charged with one count of threat of terrorism and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Both felony charges carry a 20-year maximum sentence, according to Docter’s charging document filed Monday.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office says Docter posted the threats on the social media site iFunny in January, allegedly saying he would shoot and kill Biden, Pelosi and Whitmer in effort to prompt a revolution. A Tuesday release from the office added that Docter had instructions to build a bomb on his cellphone.

In a statement released to News 8 Tuesday, Docter’s parents Bret and Erin Docter said they were “shocked” by the charges he faces and that they are working with attorneys.
“As a family, we were shocked to learn of the charges against our son. We are in process of evaluating them and working with legal counsel to consider our next steps. We respectfully ask for privacy at this most difficult time.”

All these people that have been running around sniping at people, both literally and figuratively, because they thought Trump was going to protect them, are in for a dose of reality and a rude awakening. Administrations come and go, but felonies tend to be pretty sticky. Justice is coming.
