“The Democratic field is too crowded with lackluster candidates! Now I’m going to step forward and add to their numbers. That’s how I fix the problem.”

I think he’s in a little different category than Schultz and Steyer. but I still wish that he would put his money behind the current crop of candidates who are already campaigning their asses off.

Even if we had a super majority again, (not likely to happen) a President Warren or Sanders would get very little passed through Congress. All of her dream programs would fail to get 51 Democrats to go along. Well, not without serious changes anyway.

In 2008, this Howard Wolfson …

“We now need to finish the job and ensure that Trump is defeated, but Mike is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned to do that,” Howard Wolfson, one of Bloomberg’s advisers, told the Times.

… was Hillary Clinton’s chief strategist.

He read my mind.

I was just thinking - what America needs right now is another male billionaire to jump into the Democratic presidential race, since only billionaire businessmen can save America,

(Okay I’ll add the /s)

Why in AL? Is its deadline the earliest?

Hey, he’s a billionaire businessman. Narcissism and sociopathy are their stock in trade.

Ugh, this is so depressing. Was it that fascist that was described on Rachel’s show? Please, no. I can’t bear to look myself.

Exactly, and yet rich people are acting like she is going to lead a group of people with pitchforks to arrest and seize rich peoples money, they really need to get over themselves.

Has anyone ever mentioned legislatively undoing the damage wrought by Citizens United? And why the hell not? I try not to think about the billions of dollars spent on campaigns and the day after the election, you might as well have flushed the money down the toilet.

Seeing a billionaire cry and seeing Trevor’s reaction to that crying make this video so worth watching.

The irony is that if we were to ever attain a supermajority by the grace of god, it would be through Biden, imo. Fuck Joe Manchin to hell. Why is he even still a Democrat? Just become a Republican.

More or less, yes.

Ugh. That is such silliness. Warren doesn’t have anywhere near an actual coalition of activists on the Left to make the 1% worried.

What I do think the 1% is afraid of is the Democratic Party becoming much more diverse, intelligent and normal speaking to and for a majority of Americans. I think that the elections this week showed that the Dem Party is becoming much more representative of America in a general way. Americans want democracy which is exactly what the 1% doesn’t want for this country. They want to turn this country into Russia.

Sorry but I like Mike Bloomberg. He is certainly more qualified than Bernie Sanders.
