Former New York City Mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg is expected to file to appear on Alabama’s presidential primary ballot for 2020, according to several reports on Thursday.

Oh, that’s just fucking great.

Another sign the plutocrats are scared out of their minds by Elizabeth Warren. I doubt he’d be doing this if he thought Biden had it wrapped up. If Biden does win the primary, I imagine Bloomberg will drop out. It’s just another billionaire hedge.

But it’s appalling, after this ordeal we’re living through, that they’d rather have Trump than Warren.

“We now need to finish the job and ensure that Trump is defeated, but Mike is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned to do that,”

Narcissist much?

So, another lying billionaire is breaking his promise not to run for President. That should be the talking point for every other Democrat in the race (including Steyer who is irony impaired)

I think it’s a sign that Putin has given up on Gabbard and is running Bloomberg instead.

Or maybe he’ll now have two stooges in the race.

In fact, maybe this was his plan all along!

I haven’t had this much fun on a Thursday in years.

Even if Trump is defeated, the stain will last decades:

President Trump has officially appointed one in four circuit court judges as of Thursday, a milestone cheered by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who has often touted the rate of Trump’s judicial appointments.

That’s 45 new lifetime appellate judges committed to the key principle that judges should apply our laws and the Constitution as they are actually written, not as the judge might personally wish they’d been written.

Oh just go the fuck away, Bloomberg. Who the hell told you this was a good idea?

Yeah, I know, somebody you paid to tell you you’re great.

Well he is a billionaire, that’s got to count for something.

I’m sorry but the official number of stooges is three, and three will be forever the official number of stooges.

ETA OK is this a paraphrasing of Python or Princess Bride. There’s a lot happening today and my brain is muddled, sorry.

I am suitably chastised!

I’m not aware of a whole lot of billionaires being screwed by Trump’s policies.

If Warren gets elected I hope she can make those fuckers hurt.

Even Senator Joe Manchin said last week he would vote for Trump over Warren.

That’s why they’re instructing their puppets in Congress to gum up the works, and their media organs to damage the inquiry. Every day since Ukrainegate is proof that the oligarchy prefers Trump to Warren. If that weren’t the case, then they would have permitted their congresscritters to speak out against the obvious crime. Surely at least one Republican is not cool with any president bullying Ukraine to deliver a “Comey surprise” in 2020.

Nope. The rule-by-money machine marches on through the graveyard where Trump and McConnell murder democracy, because they fear democracy more than anything but taxes. Anyone who stops to defend the victim will be dismissed.

I really don’t think that the obscenely wealthy are afraid of Warren because they know she has very little in the way of coattails and most likely would ensure a continuation of the Rethug Senate. And nothing would continue to get done in terms of policy changes. What Bloomberg is putting out is pure, unadulterated narcissism. I’m guessing that he somehow thinks that with him in the race, he can appeal to the Indie (Rethug in disguise) vote. Not nearly enough to win outright but split all kinds of votes that we need.

A billionaire who’s a helluva lot richer than Trump. His massive amounts of money and his 12 year stint as NYC’s mayor make him hard to ignore, whether we want to or not.

He hasn’t officially declared, and maybe he won’t.

He would also be another one who would turn 80 years old during his first term.

Well hopefully he is just begging for attention again and wont actually run, but i for one am tired of him threatening to run.

Oh, totally agree. It’s irritating as hell. The ultra wealthy (Steyer, Schultz, Bloomberg) seem to think that rather than give genuine Democratic candidates enough cash to get their message across and run strong campaigns, they’ll just run themselves and prove - what??
