We’re still in NC. The wedding was last night, so we had free time to wander around Durham. We went to a lovely farmer’s market and we’re approached by a clipboard-carrying woman who asked if we would sign a petition to get The Green Party on the ballot or more Greens on it. I said that we didn’t live here. She said that she lived in Ohio. Hmmm. How interesting.
I then added that we would never sign a petition like that anyway, especially in the present political climate. Nothing good would come of it.

I thought this was a little strange – that a a SS official would be “loaned out” to the WH to serve as advisor to TFG, and who now returned to the SS, where he is currently serving as the head of training. I hope he was given some time on of J6 “hot seat.”

Jenna is so utterly ill suited for this - it is almost malpractice for her to claim competency in the essential areas for this matter .
Jenna proposing to captain the ship on this issue … would be like a community practice dermatologist offering to perform a type of brain surgery that has rarely been done before.

That is some very fancy tap dancing around the question of whether Trump committed a crime or not. Someone should also remind Blunt that it absolutely is a political process as well as a judicial one. The goddamned Constitution gives Congress the tools to remove a President from office when he commits an act that endangers the nation. Blunt failed that test, he failed to uphold his oath of office as a Senator.
