White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on Wednesday scoffed at concerns that the official government procedures that were carried out at the Republican National Convention (RNC) the night before, including a naturalization ceremony, were in violation of a law forbidding the use of government activity to boost political interests, aka the Hatch Act.
Lawlessness and Disorder permeates this No-Platform Cult party!
Call a spade a spade…Trump et al violated the Hatch Act for political advantage to win re-election!
Note that penalty for the Hatch Act is removal from office with all pay revoked. And if the Merit Systems Protection Board finds by unanimous vote that the violation does not warrant removal, they are to be suspended for at least 30 days without pay…but Coverup Barr!
I am a person. I am outside the Beltway. And I definitely “give a hoot about the president politicking from the White House [and] using the federal government to his political advantage.”
“Nobody outside of the Beltwayin the GOP really cares,” Meadows told Politico. “They expect that Donald Trump is going to promote Republican valuesbreak the law.
Using your logic, Mark, if your wife gets shot between the eyes in broad daylight and nobody cares, it would be okay? See how your logic is prevalent in penitentiaries?
And as for Obama doing this too, how come he never did?
And he STILL beat your asses like gongs.
(laugh, laugh, laugh, laugh)
NOTHING gets Trumpholes enraged faster than being told Obama beat them twice without working up a sweat.
So you’re making sure that those two enlisted kids in American Samoa who were in uniform in the background of the roll call at the Dem convention part week aren’t getting punished, right?
And I guess all of the other Feds no longer have to follow the rules, either.
